Sweaty Spring Events

Oh heck yea, spring is almost here!


Along with the warmer weather and longer, sunnier days there are some great events on the horizon.

-Now thru March 20- New York Social Sports Leagues spring registration. Sign up with a group or solo for coed team sports. There are plenty of fun options; soccer, volleyball, flag football, dodge ball, kickball and more.

-Now thru end of March- Paragon Sports Ski trips- price includes round trip bus and lift ticket to various ski resorts $79-$99.

-March 16- Flywheel Be Brave N' Fly Event- A Flywheel spin class with all proceeds going to pediatric cancer causes.




-March 17- NYC Half Marathon- Susan is running with the Team for Kids and she has already exceeded her fundraising goal! The race starts in Central Park and ends at the South Street Seaport. Be on the lookout for her in her official SweatNthecity gear and cheer her on!




-March 24- DMF dance for a cause- A super sweaty and fun dance-party workout benefiting the Family Center’s Buddy Program.

-March 24- PUREfy Your Soul- The Upper West Side “triathlon” includes
a Lululemon led 3 mile run through Central Park, a SoulCycle spin class, and an hour of yoga at Pure Yoga west.



-March 28- Urban Girl Squad Ballet Bungee class at Chaise23.
Join the Urban Girl Squad and Chaise23 for a quick and lively ballet inspired class with bungees to sculpt your arms.





-March 28- Exhale Beauty Bash - Complimentary mini spa therapies, snacks, trunk shows, giveaways, and goodie bags.

-April 2 (6 weeks)- Exceed Fitness EPC track Club- A running training club/clinic that applies Exceed's SUMMIT methodology to help you run more efficiently and effectively.




-April 4-8- Yoga Journal Conference- A weekend of 100+ yoga classes taught by 40+ master teachers- including one of my favorites Dana Flynn.

-April 14- The Sports Bra Challenge- An annual, one-day outdoor charity fitness event in Union Square. All proceeds benefit the SEAK Foundation.




-Spring 2013- New SoulCycle locations opening- Soho, Village, and Williamsburg!
