HIT it at The Fhitting Room

The Fhitting room offers HIT- High Intensity Training in a small group setting. I was excited to try it out because I love trying new classes and I was WAY overdue for a challenging workout. Just a few months old, The Fhitting Room is one of the newest additions to the massive NYC boutique fitness scene. So what sets them apart? Here's what I liked right off the bat;

- convenient location
- bright, clean, studio
- friendly and helpful staff
- great first time deal (2 classes for $35!)
- complementary bottled water (it's the little things, right?)

The instructor Amanda was great- very high energy and fun, but also tough and kept the intensity up. As a slightly competitive person (or maybe not so slightly....) I really liked the way she was constantly challenging us to use more weight on every circuit, or beat your own times. She also set time limits on some of the sets which gave me extra motivation. Side note- my partner and I finished our last painful set of burpees FIRST! Yep, only a little competitive.

The Fhitting Room is another great option for a quick yet effective full body workout. An added bonus is that you don't walk out "SoulCycle sweaty" or "Bikram sweaty" so you don't have to plan your entire day around it.
